ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for Bolivar ECLC Classroom Addition will be received at the 524 W Madison St, Bolivar, MO 65613 until 3:00 PM Friday, June 13th, 2025. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Board room of the district office. Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company.
The Bolivar ECLC Classroom addition consists of approximately 5,000 square foot four classroom addition to the existing Early Childhood Learning Education facility for Bolivar School, including but not limited to building construction and associated site alterations.
Bidders may obtain Contract Documents beginning on Monday May 19th, 2025, from: Engineers Reprographics, 1600 E. St. Louis St., Springfield, Missouri 65802, Phone: 417-869-2222. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality on all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days.
All bidders must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program and stating that the bidder does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations as referred to in the specifications. This project is tax exempt.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held Wednesday May 21, at 12:30pm, at 524 W Madison St, Bolivar, MO 65613 in the Board room of the District Office. Following the Pre-bid meeting, a site walk will occur at the project site. Attendance at this Pre-bid conference is strongly recommended for all prime bidders and strongly recommended for all subcontractors.
Substantial Completion: All work for this project shall be substantially complete by April 1st, 2026.
