The Ozark football team will host the Charity of Choice Scrimmage 5 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Tiger Stadium. The event is a chance to showcase all of the Ozark programs beginning with the third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders from 5 to 6 p.m. Following are the junior high teams from 6 to 6:30 p.m., the freshmen team from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and the junior varsity and varsity closing out the night.
Donations will be taken at the gate by the high school booster club. The team asks that participants donate to one of the three charities this year: Care to Learn, Muscular Dystrophy Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The game also serves as training for new high school football officials.
Aug. 17 Ozark will host Rogersville and West Plains in the football jamboree beginning at 7 p.m.
