Cody Alan Ellis passed from this life July 4, 2018, at the age of 24, from injuries he sustained from a motorcycle accident.
There are so many things I want to say about my beautiful baby boy, like how he always had a smile on his face and how he could light up a room with his laughter. Cody was an amazing young man. He was the strongest, most wonderful son, brother, nephew, father and friend anyone could ask for. I was always telling him how proud of him I was, for who he was and all the things he had done.
Cody Alan had three beautiful babies that he loved with every beat of his heart: Emma May Ellis, 4; Asher Cian Ellis, 2; and Arrow James Ellis, 1. I know deep in my heart that Cody Alan lives on in the sweet babies he gave us.
Cody Alan was born Nov. 28, 1993. He leaves behind his mom, Cindi Ellis (Silor) of Leslie, Arkansas; and his dad, Alan Folk of Ravenden, Arkansas. Cody Alan also leaves behind so many family members and friends that loved him so much. They’ll always keep him in their hearts and memories.
Cody Alan was a guy who was always willing to help, listen and just be there for anyone who needed him. I always told people that you either liked Cody or you LOVED Cody, and everyone who has come together to show love has proven that CODY ALAN was LOVED more than life itself.
Cody Alan, I know you're somewhere, being showered with so much love from the people you left behind, but I want you to know you were so loved in your short 24 years here with us and that you will never be forgotten. Your special soul may be free, but the memory of you will live on and grow as we all share stories and remember your amazing life.
I know you fought so hard not to be a mommy’s boy, but in my heart, you will always be "Mommy’s Little Man.”
