Connie Sue (Stutesmun) Maples, 68, of Highlandville, went to be with Jesus, Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, surrounded by family. Connie was born to Clell and Betty Stutesmun, March 13, 1950, at Greenmound Ridge. Connie was united in marriage to Larry Maples and to this union three children were born.

Connie enjoyed being with family, going to ballgames, singing, serving her church, crocheting and her favorite activity—spoiling her grandkids. Connie was a beautician in the Highlandville community for most of her life and enjoyed working with the elderly at Ozark Riverview Manor.  Connie was an active member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (Tory) for decades. As a recipient of a kidney donation, Connie learned the value of giving life to others through organ donation and had the privilege of being an organ donor herself.

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Clell Stutesmun; and infant brother Ray.

Connie is survived by her mother, Betty Stutesmun of Greenmound Ridge; her three children, son Brian Maples and wife Evelyn of Greenmound Ridge, daughter Darla Liverpool and husband Trevor of Highlandville, and son Clell Maples and wife Rachel of Neosho; her grandchildren, Morgan and Justin Baker, Bradley and Paige Maples, Ryleigh and Cade Stone, Jada Liverpool, Ezekiel Maples, Gideon Liverpool, Elijah Maples, Emily Maples, Mario Lopez and Ricardo Lopez; her great-grandchildren, Allie Baker, Emma Maples and Macy Baker; her close friend, Jack Boggs; and a host of other family members and friends.
