Earl Hargrave, 89, of Fremont Hills, died early Tuesday morning, June 12, 2018, in Cox South Hospital, Springfield. He was born June 29, 1928, in Benton, the son of Loren and Faye (Duvall) Hargrave.

Earl was united in marriage to Linore Perkins on Aug. 30, 1957. He is survived by his wife, Linore Lucille (Perkins) Hargrave; and their three daughters, Kathy Johnson and husband Kelly, Judy Stucker and husband David and Sandy Stromberg and husband Shawn; four grandchildren; Taylor Stucker, Chelsea Green and husband Dustin, Katie Johnson and Karen Johnson. Earl is also survived by three siblings; twin sister Earlene Hemmer and husband Robert, sister Imogene Nelson and brother John Russell Hargrave and wife Debbie. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Frances Ann.

Earl and Linore were long-time Poplar Bluff residents, moving recently to Nixa to be near family. Earl was a skilled electrician for IBEW St. Louis Local One until retiring in 1990. He loved working with tools and keeping animals on his property on M Highway. He is remembered fondly for making many a child laugh with his work as a Shriner clown. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
