Gail Dabbs, 73, of Nixa, died April 13, 2016, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 19, 1942, in Fisk to Lawrence and Christeen (Stucker) Dabbs. He met Joan Bogle in Aurora, Illinois, and married her Aug. 10, 1962. Gail owned several service stations through the years. He was a people person and loved to joke and talk. Gail had a passion for new cars. He would sometimes surprise Joan with a new car. He loved traveling in his motor home with his family, especially with his daughter, Tracy, and his grandson, Joshua.
Gail is survived by his wife, Joan; a daughter, Tracy Henry and her husband Jerry, of Nixa; a grandson, Joshua of the home; siblings, Glenn Dabbs and his wife Erma of Osage Beach, Wayne Dabbs and his wife Sisie, of Fisk, Neil Dabbs and his wife Shirley, of Fisk and Elsie Heller of Columbia; a sister-in-law, Margie Bogle, of Flora, Illinois; and many nieces nephews, and cousins,
Gail is preceded in death his parents; brothers, Carl Dabbs, Richard Dabbs and Jerry Dabbs; a sister, Phyllis Collins; and a brother-in-law Jim Bogle.
