Jerry Lee Harley, 80, of Ozark and Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on Sept.19, 2018 while hospitalized. He was born March 7, 1938, in Springfield, Missouri. He was the oldest of two children. Parents Dr. Cecil and Clytie Harley created a happy home for he and his brother, Joe, in Ava. Jerry graduated from Ava High School in 1956.

Jerry served in the United States Navy and attended college. In 1978, he obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri. In 1992, he met his loving wife Linda and together they owned and operated Ozark Title Company in Ozark. Timing the market perfectly, the couple sold the business and moved to Arizona to enjoy retirement.

Jerry is survived by his wife Linda and his five stepchildren: Duane (Susan) Telgemeier, Debbie (Todd) Dodge, Dean (Nadine) Telgemeier, Sandy (Darren) Buddemeyer and Jeff (Jennifer) Mullins. His brother, Joe and his wife June continue to reside in Ava. Jerry is survived by ten grandchildren, all whom he adored.

Jerry was a social person. He was a regular at Just For Him (the “office”) and a great lunch date with his lifetime friend, Mike.  He rarely missed a class reunion as he enjoyed connecting with his hometown friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Havasu Mineral and Lapidary Group Inc., a non-profit that promotes earth sciences for youth.  The organizations address is 2186 McCulloch Blvd, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403. Online condolences may be shared at wwwbarnesfamilyfunerals.com.
