Funeral: 10 a.m. July 11 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial followed at Oldfield Cemetery.

Jimmie R. “Tod” Walker, 83, of Oldfield, died July 6, 2016, at Mercy Hospital surrounded by family. Tod was born April 17, 1933, in Oldfield, the son of Paul and Hazel Walker. Tod was united in marriage to Bonnie Johnson April 5, 1954. Tod was a lifelong resident of Oldfield. He owned and operated the Oldfield Slaughter Plant since 1969.

Tod was known for his ability to fix anything. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. Tod was a member of the Oldfield Church of Christ where he served as an Elder for many years.

He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Nyla Jean; great-granddaughter Brianna; parents; and sister, Sue.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bonnie; children, Mike Walker and wife Patty of Oldfield, Debbie Williams and husband Bruce of Sparta, David Walker and wife Katrina of Sparta; seven grandchildren, Bradley Walker, Jeremy Walker, Daphne Loveland, Jody Hull, Kraig Walker, Kendle Blacksher and Kendra Walker; 13 great grandchildren, Sami Jo and Todd Walker, Caedee Walker, Dexter, Walker and, Bayler Loveland, Steven and Emberlynn Hull, Kavan, Kenna and Karlee Walker and Tavie and Pyper Blacksher; brother, Dale Walker; two sisters, Connie Thomas, and Vicki McTeer and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tod and Bonnie’s favorite charities — The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Fair Haven Children’s Home.
