Jo Ann Lovins, 79, Ozark, died Friday morning, March 7, 2014, in her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1934, at Elvins, the daughter of C.C. and Ella (Pulliam) Smith. On Oct. 7, 1950, she was united in marriage to John D. Lovins. Jo Ann attended West Plains High School and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Jo Ann is survived by her children Mitchell Lovins and wife Debby of Peculiar, Joel Lovins and wife Lynn of Chadwick, Alan Lovins and wife Tina of Seymour and her daughter Susan Lovins of Ozark; sister Lucy Bielek of Ventura, Calif.; brother Danny Smith and wife Jeane of West Plains; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren other caring relatives and several friends.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her son John Gary Lovins; grandson Nate Lovins; brother Eugene Smith; sisters Mary Catherine, Mable Garrett and Sylvia Smith.
