Larry Markus died May 26, 2018. He was born Dec. 1, 1951, to Joe and Esta Markus in Dodge City, Kansas. The family moved to Ozark when Larry was a teenager, where he attended and graduated from Ozark Schools. Larry participated in football for Ozark. He was a good player.
Larry also helped with farming duties after graduation, became a truck driver, starting with Campbell 66, and then with RBX Trucking. Larry traveled the United States and was able to see many different parts of the country.
Larry's is preceded in death by parents Joe and Esta Markus; and nephews Joey Markus and Nicholas Markus. Larry is survived by brothers Mike and Mark; sisters Karen Trimble and Kathy Wimsatt and husband Gene; nephews; nieces; and several great nephews and nieces.
