Visitation: 6-8 p.m. April 30 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.

Funeral: 2 p.m. May 1 at Adams Funeral Home Nixa with Rev. Travis Edwards and Rev. Les Day officiating. Burial followed at Highlandville Cemetery, Highlandville.

Maxine (Murray) Bolin, 92, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Mercy Hospital.

She was born Oct. 6, 1922, near Pleasant Hope, the fifth of 12 children, to William O. (Ott) Murray and Gola Mae (Sallee) Murray.

On Jan. 6, 1944, in Ozark, Maxine and Claude Bolin were united in marriage. With World War II, it was an uncertain time to start a marriage. Claude returned from the war and they started their 71 year honeymoon. To their union, three children were born, Larry, Eugene (Gene), & Marsha.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Claude, of their home in Highlandville; children, Larry and wife Debra, of Springfield, Eugene (Gene) and wife Phyllis of Nixa and Marsha and husband Darrell of Highlandville; brothers, Gene Murray of Pleasant Hope, Jack (Patsy) Murray and Billy (Sue) Murray of Springfield; sisters, Peggy Jones of Pleasant Hope and Betty (Ralph) Trentalange of White Hall, Pennsilvania; sister-in-law, Mary (Bob) Donham of Nixa; brother-in-law, Roger (Betty) Bolin of Highlandville; six grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; 3 step great-great grandchildren; a host of  nieces, nephews, many other family members and special friends.         

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Roscoe, Jim, John and Fred; sisters, Ruth and Janie; great-granddaughter, Hope Clemons; and daughter-in-law, Tanna Bolin.  

Maxine accepted Christ as her savior at a young age and was a member of Highlandville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed attended church services until her health declined. Maxine loved listening to gospel music and listening to gospel songs by all local groups. She loved to garden, can green beans and veggies, plant flowers, sew, quilt and fill their home with love. She enjoyed reading. Maxine was a wonderful loving, wife, mom, sister, loving and protecting grandma to all her grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by all her family and friends.

The family would like to thank Mercy Hospital Hospice unit, Dr. James Duff and Dr. Albert Leonardo for the compassionate, loving and gentle care given Maxine during her hospitalization.
