Oliver “Lee” Page, 87 of Ozark, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018. Lee—as he was fondly known to his family and friends—was born in Ozark, Oct. 19, 1930, the youngest son of Hubert and Janie (Cline) Page. On Dec. 15, 1955, Lee was united in marriage to Dixie Wolfe, and this union was blessed with one daughter.

Lee was a graduate of Ozark High School’s class of 1948. After graduation, Lee joined the Navy, serving his country for four years. He retired after 40 years of driving a school bus for the Ozark School District. Prior to that, he owned and operated Page Texaco, and also worked as a trim carpenter. In his spare time, Lee enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a renowned marksman. He enjoyed gardening, especially when it came to raising tomatoes.

Lee accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized at an early age, remaining a faithful member of Selmore Baptist Church.

Lee is survived by Dixie, his loving wife of over 62 years; daughter Cindi Carey; two granddaughters, Amber Horne and husband John, and April Ryan and husband Clint; two great-grandsons, Hunter Ryan and Wyatt Ryan; a sister-in-law, Sherry Clevenger; and a host of other caring relatives and friends.
