Funeral: 12:45 p.m. Dec. 4, at Union Hill Church of Christ, Nixa. Visitation to be held at 11:30 a.m., also at the church. Burial to follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.

Shirley Marie Waddle, 65, of Clever, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. She was born May 18, 1953, in Sikeston, the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Schoen) Seiler. She graduated from Sikeston High School. On April 16, 1982, she and Boyce Waddle were married.

Shirley loved and took care of not only her own family, but cared for many children throughout the years in her home. She was selfless, always putting the needs of others before herself. She enjoyed cookouts, fishing, crocheting, and quilting. Shirley's favorite holiday was Christmas, making it special for those she loved. She was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ in Nixa.      

Shirley is survived by her husband, Boyce; her mother, Margaret Seiler of Sikeston; children Lee Ann Petro and James of Republic, and Lance Lewis and Kristen of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; grandchildren Courtney Duffy and Justin, Alison Petro, Jayden Petro, Madison Lewis and E.J. Lewis; great-grandchild Brylee Duffy; brothers and sisters Mary Ann Shelton and Don, Melvin Seiler and Peggy, Kenny Seiler and Debbie, Jerome Seiler and Cathy, Steven Seiler and Crystal, and John Seiler and Kay; Shirley's canine companion, Gizmo; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Seiler; and two brothers, Bobby Seiler and Ronnie Seiler.
