Visitation: 6-8 p.m. June 27, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Funeral: 11 a.m. June 28, also at the funeral home. Burial followed in Shipman Cemetery, Sparta.
Vickey Lynn Cobb, 64, of Rogersville, died in her home Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Springfield, the daughter of Leon and Nancy (Courtney) Gideon. On June 8, 1969, she and Thomas Finly Cobb were married in the home of Tom’s parents.
Vickey and Tom were inseparable. They worked together for Tom’s business, KCI Therapeutic Services. Whenever they went hunting or fishing, they were together. She loved their family and the time spent together. Vickey was a member of West Finley Baptist Church.
Vickey is survived by her husband, Tom; three sons, Thomas L. Cobb of Springfield, Christopher A. Cobb and wife Jamie of Nixa and Brian C. Cobb and wife Christy of Springfield; grandchildren Addie, Dayton, Brittney, Gage and Tyler; great-grandchild Baylor; sister Sherry Fowler and husband Clint of Philadelphia, Mississippi; mother-in-law Mildred Cobb of Fairland, Oklahoma; five brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
Vickey was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Nancy Gideon; sister Glenda Bookout; and brother Stanley Gideon.
