Alumni update — Ozark grad Blake Mozley (Johnson County)

Ozark grad Blake Mozley’s arrival at Johnson County (Kansas) has seen him get off to a .406 start at the plate.

Mozley, who transferred to Johnson County (18-6) after two years at Missouri State, has a stat line that also includes three home runs, 11 doubles, 22 runs scored, 20 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, 15 walks and a .523 on-base percentage.

Mozley is hitting leadoff for Johnson County and has two hits in each of his last three games.  He had  three doubles and six RBIs in a double-header versus Neosho County (Kansas) last weekend.

He has made just one error in 42 total chances while primarily playing at second base for a .976 fielding percentage.

Johnson County is at Fort Scott (Kansas) this weekend. Fort Scott's lineup includes Ozark grad Jake Skaggs and Nixa grad Evann Long.

Prior to the season, Mozley was tabbed No. 134 in Perfect Game USA’s Top 500 Juco Prospects.
