An arrest has been made in the 1989 murder of a Springfield woman, thanks to advances in DNA testing technology. Paul E. Bowles, 62, was booked into the Greene County Jail on Thursday, April 18. He faces charges of Second-Degree murder, forcible rape, and forcible sodomy in connection with the case.
