A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Adams Funeral home, Ozark, with Pastor Roger Hedgpeth officiating. Burial will follow at Richwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. 

Joseph Glenn “Joe” Stine, 91, of Ozark graduated into heaven Aug. 5, 2021. He was born Sept. 19, 1929, in Springfield, the son of George Oliver and Laura Belle (Jones) Stine.

Joe married Norma Fielder on Sept. 18, 1955. He worked as a farmer before having building and development companies, Fielder Stine Homes and Stine Homes, developing Crestview Estates and other properties. He also worked in sales for Tel Central. 

Joe was very active on district boards with Cassidy United Methodist Church and Word of Faith church. He volunteered in jail ministry, Gideons Bibles, Full Gospel Businessmen and Amazing Grace Fellowship.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Norma Stine of Ozark; children, Greg Stine (Tammy) of Woodstock, Georgia, Gary Stine (Cheri) of Cypress, Texas, Laneta Moeller (Bart) of Ozark, Missouri, and John Stine (Lisa) of Ozark, Missouri; grandchildren, Caleb Stine of Canton, Georgia, David Stine (Cassidy) of Grovetown, Georgia, Garrett Stine (Tiffany) of Cypress, Texas, Rachael Moeller (Casey) of Nixa, Missouri, Savanah Stine of Ozark, Missouri, and Landon Stine of Ozark; great grandchildren, Brittany Stine of Columbia, Missouri, Tyler Stine of Columbia, Missouri and Eli Stine of Canton, Georgia.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Stine; and a son, Mark Stine.
