A former Nixa High School student was one of 35 “high-achieving” MU students who presented research projects at the Missouri State Capitol on Undergraduate Research Day on Thursday, March 13. Preston Carroll, now a senior at the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, presented his research of the 555 Timer at the event. He said his work was designed to help other students who use the device better understand what it does.
