Ozark rolls to runaway victory versus Neosho

Garrett Ballard’s pick-six was one of six Ozark touchdowns in the Tigers’ 42-14 victory versus Neosho on Friday.

Ballard capped Ozark’s scoring by intercepting a Neosho pass at the Tigers’ nine-yard line and returning it 91 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Ozark (2-4) scored on its first four possessions to take a 28-7 lead into halftime.

Jace Easley and Brady Dodd opened the scoring by each reaching the end zone on an eight-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Easley added a four-yard touchdown run and Dodd had a one-yard touchdown on a quarterback keeper in the second quarter.

Jake Beets ran for a three-yard touchdown less than two minutes into the second half.

Since losing to Neosho at the start of the 2018 season, Ozark has beaten the Wildcats in four straight games by a combined margin of 134-28.
