NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PETITION TO CREATE AND FUND THE
PROPOSED FINLEY RIVER TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 4th day of February, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. in Division II of the
Circuit Court of Christian County, Missouri, 102 W. Walnut St., Room 207, Ozark, Missouri 65721,
in Cause No. 20CT-CC00262, the Court will hold a public hearing pursuant to and in accordance
with the Transportation Development District Act, Sections 238.200 through 238.280 of the Revised
Statutes of Missouri, as amended (the “TDD Act”). The purpose of said hearing is to consider the
creation and funding of a proposed transportation development district (“District”) filed by the owners
of the real property within the proposed District.
Notice is hereby given that a petition (the “Petition”) has been filed asking that a transportation development district by the name of “Finley River Transportation Development District” be formed for
the purpose of undertaking the funding of the improvements to the property in the proposed District
more particularly described below located within the City of Ozark, Missouri. (A map of the proposed
District illustrating the proposed District’s boundaries is set forth below.)
The Petition also requests the imposition of a District sales tax upon approval of the qualified voters
in the District pursuant to Section 238.235 of the Act, which may increase the total sales taxes imposed within the proposed District.
A copy of the Petition is on file and available at the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Christian
County, Missouri, 110 W. Elm, Room 202, Ozark, Missouri 65721.
All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at this public hearing.
