NOTICE OFPUBLIC HEARING BE IT KNOWN that a public hearing will be held by the City of Strafford Board of Aldermen upon the application of Christine and Michael Martin (property owners) to change the zoning of property located at 618 W. Bluegrass Road, Strafford, MO (Property ID #1104206067), from "R-1" Single Family Residential district and the equivalent of "GC" General Commercial zoning district to "NC" Neighborhood Commercial zoning district in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 400 of the Strafford Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance). The subject property is an approximately 1.39-acre tract on the south side of W. Bluegrass Road, directly south of the intersection of W. Bluegrass Road and N. Huffman Avenue. In conjunction with the rezoning, the property owners are also seeking a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a "school" for the purposes of a student tutoring center for children in kindergarten to 12th grade and a care facility for children of the same age (kindergarten ages and older) that would operate on Friday and Saturday evenings.
