Nixa’s soccer team ran its winning streak to seven by routing Willard 8-1 Tuesday.

Ethan Pellegren’s hat trick highlighted the win. Hunter Daniels and Andreas Luiga both collected a pair of goals and Riley Lister had one goal.

Pellegren, Daniels, Zach Voi, Carson Beets and Cooper Hines all had one assist.

The Eagles improved to 11-4 overall and 6-1 in the Central Ozark Conference.  

Nixa cruises to sweep

Nixa’s volleyball team netted a 25-13, 25-9 whipping of Branson on Tuesday.

Jordan Collard was dominant defensively, posting five blocks. Ciera Reyes led the offense with six kills. Sydney Golden contributed 10 assists, Lexie Gregory had 10 digs and Lauren Weber recorded an ace.

Nixa also swept the jayvee and freshman matches. On the right, the Lady Eagles won all six sets while dropping only 67 points.

Lady Eagles win big

Sam Aring homered twice  and Jaden LaBarge once in the Nixa softball team’s 13-0 blowout of Carl Junction on Tuesday.

Aring was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBIs. LaBarge was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs.

Maya Herman and Katie Faulk each had two hits.

Winning pitcher Morgan Jones threw a three-hit shutout. 

Kickapoo sweeps Nixa

Nixa’s tennis team lost 5-0 to Kickapoo in a Class 2 District 5 semifinal Tuesday.
