People in Sparta rallied around the senior athletes from the Class of 2020 whose senior seasons have been lost due to school closures tied to the COVID-19 pandemic. Several Christian County high schools celebrated athletes on Be the Light Night. On April 10, athletes gathered, coaches and teachers activated stadium lights, and people drove past to honk their horns and wave from a distance.

In Sparta, the parade of cars began at 8:20 p.m. on April 10, or 20:20 in military time, and it lasted for about 20 minutes.
