The start of a new year marked the start of new terms in office for many elected officials in Christian County government, and it included one personnel change on the Christian County Commission.
Lynn Morris took an oath of office to be sworn as the new Eastern District commissioner of Christian County on Dec. 31, starting a four-year term. Mike Robertson served two years on the county commission, but opted not to run in the 2020 election.

KEN DAVIS (left) was first elected to be Christian County’s public administrator in 2008. He will serve four more years following his reelection in 2020. Davis was sworn in on Dec. 31, 2020, in the Christian County Commission’s chambers at the Historic Courthouse in Ozark.

MANDI YODER-ARMITAGE (left) has been the Christian County coroner since 2016. She was elected to another term in 2020, and sworn in for her next term by Christian County Clerk Kay Brown at a ceremony at Southwest Forensics in Ozark on Dec. 31.
