Sparta celebrated the holiday season with the 2020 Sparta Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Sparta Park Board. The Sparta parade took place on Saturday, Dec. 5. This year, organizers moved the start time to 5 p.m. to encourage more lighted entries.
The parade route travels along Oak Street and then to main street, offering popular spots to see the parade and catch some candy all along the route.
