Winds that reached speeds of around 70 mph caused damage throughout Ozark and other parts of Christian County 

The National Weather Service in Springfield recorded wind speeds above 60 mph in the 5 a.m. hour. The brief storm took down a large tree just south of the downtown square in Ozark. The windows also tore down smaller limbs and scattered debris throughout neighborhoods.
