A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark with Jimmy Greenway officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Linden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 immediately before the funeral service at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
Robert J. Tindle, 76, of Galena died Thursday, May 16, 2019. Robert was born Dec. 6, 1942 in Sparta, the son of Frank and Leta (Wiggins.)
On Oct. 16, 1960, Robert married Lynnette (Press.) Lynnette preceded Robert in death on Feb. 8, 2019.
Robert served his country in the U.S. Marines. He retired from FASCO Industries. Robert enjoyed stock car racing.
Survivors include: a son, Frank Tindle and wife Kim, Illinois; a daughter, Leta, “Jeannie” Tindle, Galena; and a daughter in law, Jeannette Tindle, Stockton.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lynnette Tindle; a son, James Tindle; a brother, Gail Tindle; and a grandson, Chad Stafford.
