The Ozark Post Office's brick exterior was damaged after a one-vehicle accident March 29. Ozark Police Department Lt. Sean Vorse said the driver was pulling into a parking spot and hit the accelerator instead of the breaks, striking the side of the building.

"She was transported to the hospital for precautionary measures just to be on the safe side," Vorse said.

There were no other injuries. Vorse said the post office is being inspected by structural engineers to ensure the building is safe. A portion of the building is closed off, but the post office is still open for business.
