Funeral: 2 p.m. March 30, at Smyrna Baptist Church. Visitation to be held one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Weaver Cemetery, Ozark. Memorial donations for bibles may be given to The Gideon’s International.

Eulamae (Green) Haefling, 93, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019. She was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Ozark, to Robert and Rosa (Bloomer) Green. Eulamae graduated from Ozark High School in 1943. She attended Oklahoma Baptist College and graduated from Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, receiving a degree in children’s education. On June 26, 1949, she was united in marriage to Howard W. Haefling.

Eulamae’s family describes her as a wonderful mother and homemaker. Her famous homemade pocket rolls and lavish Sunday dinners brought the family together every week. She decorated her home for the holidays and made everyone feel special. Spring was her favorite time of the year. She loved to hear the birds sing and see spring flowers come to life.

Eulamae was a devoted Christian lady and a long-time member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She served the church as organist and pianist for many years and taught various children and adult Sunday school classes.

Eulamae is survived by her children, Steve Haefling and wife Lorinda, of Rogersville, J.D. Haefling and wife Mary Ann, of Rogersville, Beverly Thomas of Merriam, Kansas, and Barbara Patterson, of Ozark; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Eulamae is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and three sisters.
