The Ozark Chamber of Commerce has announced that applications are now being accepted for Ozark Leads Class 6. Ozark Leads is a nine-month leadership development program for community leaders who are committed to improving the quality of life in Ozark.
The program will give participants a greater understanding of the Ozark community—how it works, lives and plays.
Each Ozark Leads class is selected to achieve a balanced membership makeup in terms of professional background, leadership experience, time in the Ozark community, industry and other factors. Classes are intended to be made up of persons who represent large and small businesses, self-employed individuals, nonprofits and community volunteers.
Ideal candidates for Ozark Leads:
-Must be 21 years or older and live or work in the Ozark community.
-Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional growth.
-Demonstrate commitment and motivation to serve the community by assuming leadership roles in the community.
Based on the competitive nature of the program, applying and gaining acceptance into Ozark Leads can be a multi-year process. A limited number of applicants are selected for each class.
