Finley Farms will be a historic destination in the center of Ozark, and the staff is set to grow by about 80 members.

The Workshop hosts a career fair July 24, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in an effort to fill full-time and part-time positions at the Ozark Mill. The mill’s restaurant is the key focus for the hiring event.

“Soon, the farm-to-table riverfront dining experience will offer pizzas, pastas and seasonal dishes. Candidates who are passionate about creating memorable experiences centered around food and beverage are strongly encouraged to apply,” a statement from Finley Farms reads.

Interested candidates may also apply by visiting http://finleyfarmsmo.com/jobs. Perks for employees include healthcare benefit options plus discounts at Bass Pro Shops, Big Cedar Lodge and Finley Farms. Some of the jobs available include sous chefs, baristas, assistant restaurant managers, bartenders, receiving clerks, servers, hosts, general store attendants, server assistants, cooks, groundskeepers, dishwashers and security officials.

All applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

In 2019, Megan Stack and executives from Bass Pro Shops announced plans for the Ozark Mill. The restaurant will offer Ozark residents a visitors a dining option overlooking the Finley River. The restaurant will offer "local, sustainable food sources, including produce grown on site."

The Ozark Mill will house a general store, museum, speakeasy and multiple event venues, making it a destination for day trips and weekend getaways for the whole family. Construction on the historic site is ongoing, and a grand opening will be announced at a later date.
