The Children's Smile Center received a $2,102 contribution from the Finley River Community Foundation that will help kids in Christian County receive dental care.
The grant will be used to purchase a special dental supplies cart, as well as purchase a space maintainer kit for use in the Ozark clinic. These funds help to offset the low Medicaid reimbursements that Children's Smile Center receives from the state, and will help provide the care and services to thousands of patients in the most appropriate and effective way, according to Children's Smile Center executive director Jackie Barger.
"We are so very grateful to Finley River Community Foundation for their faithful and generous support over the years. Children's Smile Center is a proud and grateful partner with FRCF and their work in eastern Christian County," Barger said.
