NEOSHO — Nixa ran its winning streak against Neosho to five games as the Eagles rolled past the Wildcats 46-17 Friday.
The Eagles bolted to a 26-10 second quarter lead and led 26-17 at the half.
Nixa held a 32-17 advantage in the third quarter, when the Eagles stopped a Neosho drive at the Nixa four-yard line. The Wildcats had another second-half drive stall upon reaching the red zone.
The Eagles (2-0) clinched the outcome on an 84-yard touchdown pass from Nate Uber to Wyatt Vincent.
Dylan Rebura returned from a sprained ankle to run for two touchdowns.
Nixa has totaled 216 points in its last four wins against Neosho.
