The Beehive Cluster

One of the many objects in the night sky to view is groups of stars that are gravitationally bound together. Called open clusters, they can be viewed without any optical aid. They are scattered across the night sky and contain a dozen to several hundred stars. They also appear to be very small in the night sky.
