The Nixa Chamber of Commerce announced the winners for the 2021 Christian County Top 10 Under 40.
The 10 will be recognized at an event hosted by the Nixa Young Professionals (NXYP), a subgroup of the chamber. The recipients will be honored at the Nixa Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Dec. 14.
The 2020 Top 10 Under 40 for Christian County are:
Macie Thornhill—Communications Specialist, city of Nixa
Joshua Donham—Battalion Chief, Nixa Fire Protection District
Andrew Leach—Battalion Chief, Nixa Fire Protection District
Elatia Webb—co-owner of Haven Games
Renea Frizzell —designated broker/owner , Home Sweet Home Realty and Associates
Justin Orf—Engineer Intern, CJW Transportation Consultants, LLC
Sara Anderson—Special Education Teacher, Ozark Schools
Sarah Igartua—owner of Ozark Party Planner
Erica Mahn—Director of Community Pharmacy, Alps Pharmacy
Nick Woodman—City Attorney, city of Nixa
Nominees must be under the age of 40 and live or work in Christian County. Judges considered each applicant's community involvement, professional achievements, innovation and leadership in their field of work. After a review, the judges narrowed the field of nominees to the top 10 submissions.
"This year's class of recipients expands the entire Christian County region which was the goal of this event when we started it in 2019," Nixa Chamber of Commerce President Chris Russell said. "There are so many great young professionals who are finding ways to impact our Christian County community, and we at the Nixa Chamber are excited to highlight them once again in 2021."
Nixa Walmart is the premier sponsor of the event.
Honorees will be interviewed and receive their awards at the luncheon at The Bridge church in Nixa on Dec 14. Reservations are required at http://bit.ly/Nixa-Top-10-Luncheon.
