Update: At 8:15 a.m., a family member of one or both of the two boys reportedly contacted the Nixa Police Department. Officers are continuing to investigate the situation.
Original story: Nixa Police need your help identifying two young boys who were found walking down a street in 47-degree weather by a passerby.
The boys were walking along the 800 block of South Main Street, which is south of Mill Street, at 6:52 a.m. Dec. 30.
Both are estimated to be less than 4 years old.
According to police, the boys only know their first names. They are not able to tell first responders their last names or their parents’ names.
They are being warmed and cared for by first responders.
