Well, we got a couple of small showers. Just enough to think we were in for a break in the weather. I do think it made my cows a mess to handle and move around. Joey and I spent the morning trying to get them in the same pasture and patching a few places in the fences. We now have dry grass and acorns to chase. Oh well, the life of a farmer. Wouldn’t trade it for any other job!

Kaitlyn McConnell presented another great program on the Ozarks. The hills are full of ghosts and wild stories. What is real and what is made up?

Congratulations to Jim Fisher and his family on his receiving the Fisher Homestead award in Taney Country. This is sure to stay in his family for many years to come.

I attended a few ballgames the past week. The kids did great. I can’t say that for some of the crowds.

I am sorry that my news could not get to the printers because the internet was messed up. Hopefully, that won’t happen again. I also did not have phone service to my house phone. Missed some important calls.

My friend felt she could not write her Family History Stories because she didn’t have a computer. I told her she could write it and take it to the printer to print and she could let them staple it together. Then she would have her story in book form for her family to share.

The high winds of Friday caused some celebrations to cancel some activities. Saturday and Sunday were much better.

My niece is planning a big trip soon and is now getting supplies and suitcases ready.

We had frost here on Swan Creek on Sunday morning. The last of my tomatoes were picked on Friday.

The Friendship Club will meet at the Community Building on Monday. I hope everyone remembers. You all have a great week.
