Nixa City Clerk Cindy Robbins with Mayor Brian Steele

Nixa Mayor Brian Steele and the Nixa City Council acknowledged City Clerk Cindy Robbins for 30 years of service.

“Cindy was hired Jan. 23, 1989 and worked in all three of the city halls in Nixa,” Steele said. “There were five total employees in 1990.”

Steele said Robbins worked her way up in Nixa from billing clerk to utility account specialist to being appointed by the mayor and council to the city clerk position in 2014. And in a tongue-in-cheek remark, Steele said Robbins succeeded even though she is an Ozark High School graduate.

“Cindy has put in an amazing 30 years with the city,” Steele continued. “She is the exceptional person we all looked to as an example of how customer service should be done in our city and we appreciate you very much.”
