In honor of Bruce’s wishes, a committal ceremony with full military honors will take place 3 p.m. May 14, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Cremation and cemetery arrangements are in the care of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta.
Bruce Eldon Bruton, 69, of Sparta, died May 9, 2018. He was born in Springfield, June 15, 1948, the son of Jim and Betty (Roden) Bruton. Bruce worked as a car salesman with his family dealership for several years. He served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1968. Bruce was a friendly man and dearly loved his dog, Bear.
