Joseph Craig Coleman, 75, of Ozark, died Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born Oct. 26, 1942, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Joseph John and Lucille (Mott) Coleman. He was the youngest of six children. Craig grew up in Irrigon, Oregon. He served his county in the U.S. Navy.

Craig was a Union Steel painter, traveling over a wide area wherever his craft was needed. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and liked all things about motorcycles. After discharge from the Navy, Craig rode from the east coast to the west coast as a celebration. He was a great story-teller, bending the ears of those listening. He also loved being a practical joker.

Craig is survived by his children, Marvin Coleman and wife Dawn of Prosser, Washington, Kevin Coleman and wife Robbin of Pendleton, Oregon, Stacy Coleman and wife Lorie of Murrieta, California, Michelle Gale and husband Darrell of Irrigon, Oregon, and Vickie Harrod and husband Bobby of Ozark; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Coleman.

Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in 2016; two sisters; two brothers; and his parents.
