Services: 2 p.m. Jan. 24, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Dale Grubaugh officiating. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield.

Myrtle Allen, 85, of Ozark, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, in Ozark Nursing and Care Center. She was born June 17, 1933, in Albany, New York, the daughter of Clifford Wilbert Clark and Christina (Henry) Clark. She was united in marriage to Haskell Allen. Myrtle loved children and was a teacher for a church elementary school in Springfield before retirement. She worked in the kitchen at the Ozark Senior Center and enjoyed making new friends there.

She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Smyrna Baptist Church and the members for being so helpful and such a blessing to Myrtle. She enjoyed crocheting when she was able. 

Myrtle is survived by a brother, John Clark of Fort Pierce, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Peggy Lybarger.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother; several sisters; and her parents.
