Virgie Irene Beavers-Jenkins was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Mountain View. She died July 16, 2016.
Virgie married Eddie Lee Jenkins July 8 1976, in Kennett. To this union two children were born, Jennifer Ilene Sopko and husband Jason of Fairdealing and Christopher Lee Jenkins and wife Rachel of Nixa.
Virgie was preceded in death by her father, Oliver E. Beavers; and mother, Sylvia I. Beavers.
Virgie is survived by husband, Eddie; two children; four grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and a host of siblings.
She was a registered nurse. She loved helping people. She worked for 30 years at Doctors Hospital and Three Rivers Regional Medical Center. Her favorite was labor and delivery and newborn nursery.
Virgie confessed her faith Oct. 2, 2003, and was a member of Countryside Christian Church, Nixa.
In lieu of flowers benevolence donations can be made out to Countryside Christian Church on Virgie’s behalf.
