Funeral: 2 p.m. April 1 at Meadors Funeral Home, Clever, with Rev. Max Edmondson officiating. Burial followed at Jamesville Cemetery, Jamesville.

Wilma Imogene (Turner) Keithley died March 28, 2016, to dwell in Heaven with her Savior. Imogene was born Oct. 28, 1926, near Abesville, to Henry Jefferson Turner and Mamie Florence (Merritt) Turner. Imogene was saved and baptized at 15. She rejoined Jamesville Baptist Church in 1973 and was a member there since. Her health failed and she hasn’t been able to attend services for several years, but she never forgot the enjoyment and blessings of her church life.

Imogene Turner and Perry Keithley were united in marriage July 24, 1945, and to this union four children were born. Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Perry after 64 years of marriage. Perry was not only her husband, but her best friend.

In addition to her parents and husband, Imogene was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred White and Willadean Redfearn; five brothers, Raymond, George, Babe; an infant, Henry; and an unnamed infant; two grandsons, Gregory Case and Neil Keithley; and two sons-in-law, Don Case and Louis Shepherd. Her survivors are four children, Florence Anne Case of Gladstone, Francie Medlin and husband,J. D. of Crane, Dena Boutwell and husband, Ron of Nixa and Chris Keithley and wife, Brenda, Wheelerville; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Charla and Tony Parkhurst of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brad and Kristy Case of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sarah and Travis Winfree of Crane, Hope and Charlie King of Hurley, Amos Medlin of Crane, Micaiah and Amy Medlin of Crane, Martha and Rufus Louderback of Nixa, Samuel and Holly Medlin of Crane, Amber and Aaron Edmondson of Springfield and Tara and Matt Mease of Crane; 32 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and numerous members of her husband’s family.

Imogene was an avid reader; especially of the Bible. Imogene also wrote poems about family and short stories for her grandchildren.
