Funeral: 2 p.m. April 15 at Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, with Jon Mitchell officiating. Burial followed at Chadwick Memorial Cemetery.

Agnes Louise (Loomis) St. Clair, 87, of Chadwick, died April 12, 2016. Maggie was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Chadwick, the daughter of John “Babe” and Lyda (Moody) Loomis. She married Arvel St. Clair April 23, 1946, to whom three children were born. She was baptized in 1959, by Reverend Melvin Terry at Garrison.

Maggie was an employee at Dayco Industries for 23 years, retiring in 1985. She then volunteered primarily at the Mark Twain National Forest. She was also treasurer/secretary of Chadwick’s first volunteer fire department. Maggie secured and obtained a grant that provided Chadwick with their first fire truck. Maggie was very active in local politics. She was a Christian County Democrat Committee woman and treasurer of the Chadwick Cemetery Association.

Maggie was preceded in death by a son, Michael Gene St. Clair; her parents; and seven brothers and sisters.

Maggie is survived by her sister, Marie Davis and husband Jim; her daughter, Judy Hicks and husband Denton; her son, Ron St. Clair and wife Denise; grandchildren, Janna Jenkins and husband Robert of Chadwick, and Doug Kessinger and wife Tierra Pittsburgh, Kansas; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
