Despite missing final month of season, Clever's Jones tabbed Mid-Lakes First-Team pick

Clever’s Ireland Jones has landed a spot on the All Mid-Lakes Conference First Team.

Jones’ junior season saw her put up numbers that included nightly averages of 17.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.4 steals. 

She suffered a foot injury that forced her courtside for the final  month of the season.

Jones is joined on the First Team by Skyline’s Kenzi Cheek and Ashlen Garrett, Fair Grove’s Brooke Daniels and Kameron Green and Strafford’s Lauren Jones and Elsie Larsen.

Clever’s Jayleign Flood was selected to the Second Team, as was Fair Grove’s Ashton Bell, Skyline’s Grace Edge, Strafford’s Laney Humble and Forsyth’s Savannah Koen.

The Lady Jays’ Brylie Hicks received honorable mention recognition.

Skyline's Kevin Cheek was named the Coach Of the Year.

On the boys side, Clever's Brayden Verch received honroable mention recognition.

The First Team is made up of Forsyth's Tanner Biard and Ryder Blevins, Fair Grove's Bryden Baxter and Jaxon Rowden and Strafford's Cody Voysey.

Forsyth's Kevin Smith and Fair Grove's Bryan Tucker share for the Coach Of the Year award.
