The Lady Jays (31-5-3) won the Quarterfinal match by counts of 25-21, 25-20, 25-19, after Mountain Grove took the teams’ regular-season meeting in five sets.

Gilmore led the Lady Jays’ defense with four blocks. Sydney Bollenbach had 14 digs and 12 serve-receptions.

The Lady Jays last made State in 2011.

Clever and Ursuline will meet in a semifinal at 10 a.m. Thursday in Cape Girardeau. Ursuline is a St. Louis metro all-girls Catholic school with an annual tuition of $17,600.
