Nixa’s 22-win season that included a COC championship and a Class 4 District 5 title has been rewarded with four All-COC First Team selections and eight All-District First Team choices.
Named to the All-COC First Team are the Lady Eagles’ Shaelee Franck, London Kirk, Samantha McClain and Bailey Snyder, along with Ozark junior defender Audrey Carlton and junior forward Chloe Kondracki.
Franck set a Nixa record with 34 goals during her sophomore season. The forward also had 19 assists.
Kirk, a sophomore midfielder, netted 22 goals and four assists.
McClain, also a sophomore midfielder, dished out 17 assists, to go along with six goals.
The rest of the All-COC First Team includes Willard’s Kenadie Limb and Katelyn Magee, Republic’s Ava Brown and Brooklyn Claxton, Carl Junction’s Hailey Merwin and Ella Anderson and Carthage’s Jazmin Cancinos.
Nixa is represented on the Second Team by senior defender Averi Burks, senior goalkeeper Allyson Pendergraft and junior forward Brooke Teter, while Ozark is represented by sophomore midfielder Brooklyn Schulte and junior midfielder Addison Shuler.
Receiving honorable mention recognition are Nixa’s Bria Smith and Jade Johnson and Ozark’s Morgan Pickens.
All-District First Team choices for Nixa are Snyder, McClain, Franck, Kirk, Teter, Smith, Bella Johnson and Mackinzie Harris.
All-District First Team picks for Ozark are Kondracki, Carlton, Shuler and Schulte.
The District MVP is McClain, Offensive co-MVPs are Franck and Kickapoo’s Elli Davison, the Defensive co-MVPs are Snyder and Brown, the Goalkeeper Of the Year is Pendergraft.
Pendergraft had 48 saves.
