Nixa’s Faith Chepkondol won the long jump in dominant fashion and upped her personal record at Wednesday’s COC Track Meet.
Chepkondol’s leap of 18-5 beat the rest of the field by more than foot. Her PR had been 18-0.
Ozark’s Abby Beets finished first in the pole vault by more than a foot by clearing 10-113/4.
The Lady Tigers’ Blaire Pace was second in the 400 (59.95), as was Bria Wright in the 100 hurdles (16.34) and Ozark’s 4 x 400 relay (4:14) and 4 x 800 relay (10:13).
Nixa’s Chloe Holgate was second in the high jump (4-113/4). Her PR had been 4-9.
The Lady Eagles’ 4 x 100 relay was second (49.66), as was Halle Hanna in the discus (103-8).
Thirds for Ozark went to Wright in the 300 hurdles (49.05) and Kopelyn Delong in the 1,600 (5:30) and 3,200 (11:54).
For Nixa, Hanna was third in the shot put (33-61/2), as was Taylor Hopper in the 100 (12.71), Rylee Leng in the triple jump (33-33/4) and Oliva Wright in the long jump (16-111/4).
Finishing fourth were Hopper in the 200 (26.50) and Nixa’s Eva Williams in the 100 hurdles (16.95), as well as Ozark’s Elsie Estes in the 3,200 (12:08) and Izabella Rickard in the discus (98-2).
Taking fifth were Pace in the 100 (12.80) and Ozark’s Brinley Watson in the javelin (112-8) and Lauren Carson in the high jump (4-113/4), as well as Nixa’s Brookelyn Bidinger in the 800 (2:26), Meliah Copley in the 300 hurdles (50.07), Cassidy Williams in the 1,600 (5:39) and Ava Owens in the discus (97-0).
