State Route CC/J interchange with U.S. Highway 65 in Ozark

Cars travel from the eastbound bridge of a diverging diamond interchange off of U.S. Highway 65 onto State Route J in Ozark. The eastbound bridge, which sits on the northern part of the interchange, will be closed for repairs for three nights Aug. 21-23.

One of the busiest bridges in Christian County will be closed for three nights for repairs.

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced that the Route CC/J overpass bridge will be closed on the nights of Aug. 21-23 for repair work.

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21, the bridge will close at 8 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. as construction crews repair bridge joints on the older of the two bridges, which carries eastbound traffic toward James River Assembly, Lambert’s Cafe, Price Cutter and other Ozark businesses off of State Route J.

The bridge will reopen for normal traffic during daytime hours.

The interchanges ramps to U.S. Highway 65 will remain open, but drivers will only be able to make right turns. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes for the three nights of repair work.
