Steven Wayne Seaton, 71, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14th around 4:30 p.m. His visitation and funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 20th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the funeral beginning at 11:30. Services will be held at West Finley Baptist Church, 258 Olga Rd, Fordland, MO. The burial will be in the cemetery adjacent to the church grounds. more

They will discuss the potential compensation claims of landowners in Christian and Greene counties who own property adjacent to a proposed rail-trail conversion that would turn 12 miles of an abandoned railway section that spans from Springfield to Ozark, Missouri, into a hiking and biking trail called the Chadwick Flyer Trail. Hundreds of local landowners may be eligible for compensation from the federal government for the taking of their land. more
